Diagnóstico nutricional en niños de la Ciénaga y los Guandules

The nutritional state of the children's population reflects the socioeconomic conditions of a community. This study looks at the state of nutrition of the children residing in two of the poorest sectors of the city of Santo Domingo. In these two sectors, chronic malnutrition and thriving diarrhea double the values registered for the city. Integral projects against poverty have to include direct actions to improve the nutritional condition of the population in early childhood. helping thus to increase the potential of those called to be the subjects of their own development.
