30 años después: La demografía en la República Dominicana, 1968-1998

The author reviews the more important initiatives taken in the field of demography in the Dominican Republic since the late sixties. He also draws a balance of still pending advancements pointing out some of the f1aws behind the 1993 national census and also the need of having an annual census of the households in arder to better plan and execute development projects.
