This study takes place in the new Haitian migration context; in this sense it focuses on the city as Haitian nationality immigrants main destination who are trying to enter the Dominican labour market, specifically in the building sector. This research also considers providing a diagnosis on this population’s working conditions; this, having for frame of reference human dignity and the recognition of people’s fundamental rights for those who migrate looking for their own as well as their family’s better living standards.
